In this pure manual work, marble surface is chipped with chipping tools and same size of Semi-Precious stone are placed it with super-glue. This work was originated from Italy in 13-14th Century and is used in making world famous Agra’s Taj Mahal main dome extensively. The Semi-Precious Stones/gems are used in this work are CORNELIAN, JASPER, TURQUOISE(firoza), LAPIS LAZULI(lajverd), MALACHITE, etc This art work is called 'Pietra Dura' and have been used in Tajmahal's walls.
