The 2007-08 Detroit Red Wings campaign, their 76th as the Red Wings and 82nd in the NHL, saw them clinch their 11th Central Division title, 6th Presidents' Trophy, 5th Clarence S. Campbell Bowl, and ultimately, their 11th Stanley Cup. They topped the Central Division and Western Conference, securing their 17th consecutive playoff berth. After splitting the first four games against the Nashville Predators, coach Mike Babcock swapped starting goaltender Dominik Hasek for Chris Osgood. Osgood then led the team to nine straight wins, culminating in a 4-2 series victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals, with a 14-4 record (and 16-6 overall).
