From the Manufacturer This is an Academy plastic model kit. The South Korean K9 self-propelled 155 mm howitzer is called "Thunder". The main armament consists of a 155 mm caliber ordnance with a maximum firing range of 40 km.Loading is automated and the gun is capable of firing three rounds in 15 seconds at different elevations and fuse settings so all shells can impact simultaneously on a mid-range target. Academy has always shown a soft spot for the “home market” and done an excellent job on Korean national vehicles, and this kit is no different. The big 1/35 scale kit includes 11 hatches that can be positioned open or closed, scale tools and accessories, and has single piece tracks. The kit also includes an extensive decal sheet covering three different units and battery markings for three different batteries (red, blue and yellow) and serial numbers. Three crew figures are included, too.
