- Many of these creatures have powerful secondary abilities including creating additional creature tokens (Bladewing, Death Tyrant, Feldon, Kari Zev, Krenko, Mardu Strike leader), drain/life loss (Calculating Lich, Hellrider), direct damage (Combustible Gearhulk, Dreadhorde Butcher), anthem/buff effects for your army (Drana), card draw/free spells (Etali, Florian, Garna), additional combat step (Moraug), and many more! These secondary effects can generate enormous value and deal massive damage to your opponents.
- The deck takes advantage of Mishra's strong drain ability to deal massive amounts of damage to all opponents, meanwhile gaining life to help counteract any opponents' aggression. The deck additionally features a number of mana rocks and acceleration effects to help cast your more expensive creatures ahead of curve, numerous removal spells, as well as card draw and effects to help make your creatures evasive so they can attack turn after turn (menace, etc).
