On April 6, 2018, American Airlines announced its plans to more than double its 787 Dreamlinerfleet with a new order for 47 of the super-efficient airplane plus 28 options. The aircraft flew from Everett Paine Field (PAE) to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on Flight 9824, departing at 3:20pm and arriving in Dallas at 8:21 pm.
