The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is a refurbished eight-braid produced in Japan and now features VT Construction Method braiding technology. It is a very strong and soft PE line that is perfect for throwing over great distances. It is available in diameters from 0.05mm to 0.43mm with an incredible breaking strength of 46.5kg. It has the perfect properties for launching in fresh and salt water, as it is very sensitive and very soft, which also helps to reduce noise. Two additional colors will also be available with Mantis Green and Steel Grey, i.e. Yellow and highly visible multicoloured. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for fishing at greater depths. Due to its softness and small diameter, Kairiki 8 is an excellent line for jigging as it has low water resistance and maximum elongation of <3.0%, it is also very sensitive.
